## A Note on the API
BookOrbit is under very active development, with new features and improvements landing often. Its API grows alongside the official apps and is shaped around what they need, so it changes at the same pace. Care is taken to keep released app versions working, but the API is not a stable public interface and carries no compatibility guarantees. The official apps, OPDS, Kobo sync, and the KOReader plugin are the supported ways to connect, so for the smoothest experience start there.
