Fix the server and web gaps found while porting the PDF and comic
readers and offline downloads to Android, checked against the iOS app:
- KOReader: answer a pull for a PDF or comic with the page number when a
BookOrbit client wrote last, instead of a percentage with no page
- comics: key the zip offset, RAR and CB7 caches by file id and
modification time, so pages are not served from stale offsets after a
metadata write-back rewrites the archive
- comics: answer an unreadable archive with 422 rather than a page count
of 0, and extract CB7 with its folders so same-named pages in
different folders no longer overwrite each other
- book files: send an ETag and Last-Modified on serve and download and
honour If-None-Match and If-Range, clamp a range that runs past the
end, answer suffix ranges with 206, and honour Range on download,
which advertised it but sent the whole file
- book files: leave raw file routes uncompressed, so FB2 and unknown
formats keep their Content-Length
- progress: reject a fractional or negative page number with 400 rather
than failing with 500 at the database
- types: declare the comic page-count response shared by the web and
the apps
- web: open a percentage-only PDF position at its estimated page, and
flush pending PDF and comic progress before the reading session ends
Add EPUB narration, shared media controls, and native device session integration.
Apply the generated migrations and update all first-party clients alongside the server.
BREAKING CHANGE: introduce incompatible database and API contracts for media playback
Reject numeric trust-proxy values that Fastify no longer honors and retain explicit boolean or address-based configuration. Bridge Nest and cookie type augmentation differences so the pre-push typecheck succeeds under TypeScript 6.
Add translate.googleapis.com to the connect-src Content-Security-Policy directive so the built-in eBook reader's translation feature can perform fetch requests without being blocked by CSP.
Closes#786
Disable default HSTS header in fastifyHelmet and register an onSend hook that includes Strict-Transport-Security only when request protocol is HTTPS. This prevents unencrypted HTTP setups and other services on the host from being forced onto HTTPS by browser HSTS caching.
Closes#760
The epub reader's "Define" feature relies on api.dictionaryapi.dev and
wiktionary.org. These domains were being blocked by the server's Content
Security Policy. Adding them to the connect-src directive allows the
client to successfully fetch word definitions.
Closes#403
Send injected empty JSON bodies as Buffer chunks so Nest Fastify parsers can consume them without crashing.
Acknowledge BookOrbit collection item updates locally instead of proxying synthetic tags upstream.
Closes#396
Inject an empty JSON object for requests that have an unsupported content type but zero content length. Fastify defaults to rejecting these with a 415 error.
Closes#348
The Content Security Policy was previously blocking external images,
preventing admin-configured OIDC provider icons from loading.
This allows https: images to be loaded while continuing to block
plain http: to maintain mixed-content protection.
