Podcasts shipped switched off in every release and are now removed from the server,
web client and shared types. Migration 0132 drops the podcast tables and the media-type,
library-type and folder-role columns. Released iOS and Android builds read the removed
response fields as optional, so the API change stays compatible.
Library, smart scope, collection, authors and series pages share a new
BrowseHeader: the place and its actions on one row, then search, sort,
filters and facets in one bar that folds groups instead of wrapping.
Format chips count from the new POST /libraries/:id/books/facets, built
on the listing's own query; scopes and collections gain filter and sort.
Create client IDs with createUuid instead of crypto.randomUUID, which
browsers only expose in secure contexts, so Add tier, saved views, table
presets and podcast sessions work on HTTP installs. Lint now rejects raw
randomUUID calls.
Fixes#1722
Search and Compare Metadata become one two-pane sheet, shared with the Book Dock. Results are
ranked by match strength beside a field-by-field comparison with Keep/Use per row, word-level
diffs, other sources inline, a cover strip, and picks that survive switching results.
The search runs on open and a single source can be retried. No API change.
Add EPUB narration, shared media controls, and native device session integration.
Apply the generated migrations and update all first-party clients alongside the server.
BREAKING CHANGE: introduce incompatible database and API contracts for media playback
Update copyToClipboard to reliably handle the legacy execCommand fallback across browsers. The utility now selects text before copying, returns a success boolean, and ensures proper element cleanup. Added comprehensive tests for clipboard.ts and updated MagicLinksSettings tests.
